Key Responsibilities:
Recording: Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment for recording sessions, ensuring optimal sound quality and capturing the artist’s vision.
Mixing: Balance and adjust recorded tracks to create a cohesive sound, employing various audio effects and techniques to enhance the listening experience.
Mastering: Prepare final mixes for distribution by ensuring consistency in sound across all playback systems and formats.
Collaboration: Work closely with artists, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and provide creative input throughout the recording process.
Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to audio equipment and software during sessions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sessions, including track lists, settings, and production notes, to ensure efficient workflow and continuity in projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production, with equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience in music engineering with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects.
Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
In-depth knowledge of sound design, mixing, and mastering techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality audio production.
